“Outstanding Paper Award for Research Students” and “Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholar”

The Conference will establish two awards, “Outstanding Paper Award for Research Students” (the contributors are research students) and “Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholar” (the contributors are Associate Professors or below), in the two major areas of “Teaching and learning of Han Characters and Chinese Language” and “Han Characters and Chinese Language Research”. Participants (First authors) are required to submit full papers to online submission platform by 31 October 2026. The paper format can be referred to in the Full Paper Submission Guideline .

~ If the papers you submitted are only intended to compete for the awards but not for publication in our conference proceeding, please specify in the online submission platform. The link to the paper submission platform will be announced later.

~ Accepted presenters may submit full papers via the online system by the above-mentioned deadline, and they will be included in the Conference Proceedings. Please observe the Full Paper Submission Guideline to prepare your papers. Please note that the submission of a full paper is not a mandatory requirement. The paper should be your original work, except where due acknowledgment is made, and it has not been previously published.
